Our Approach:
Acquire, operate and grow one extraordinary small business in the Northeast U.S.
Northeast Equity Partners has a long-term investment horizon and seeks to fully acquire one small-to-medium sized business in the essential commercial/ residential services industries. We hope to partner with an owner who is ready to transition their business to a passionate, entrepreneurial steward who will enhance their legacy, protect their employees and drive growth through systematic operational efficiencies.
Why Northeast Equity Partners?
Nick Windwer established Northeast Equity Partners as a vehicle to acquire one exceptional small-to- medium sized business in the Northeast U.S. with the plan to operate and grow it for the foreseeable future.
As a Massachusetts native, with ties in NYC and RI, the Northeast U.S. is his home. Nick is aiming to acquire a small business in 2025, and plans to make an immediate positive impact to the community.
The Entrepreneur
Nick was raised in Milton, MA where his father owned and operated a Physical Therapy and Chiropractic company. While his dad was working on growing his small business, Nick’s mom raised three children in a loving home. Nick grew up watching his father grow his business, treating his patients with exceptional levels of care and compassion, and treating his employees like family. This strong entrepreneurial spirit is what led to Nick’s dreams and aspirations of owning and operating a small business in the Northeast U.S. one day. The ultimate goal of owning and operating a small business is to support his family, provide tremendous services to the community and meaningful employment to others. Northeast Equity Partners is the culmination of this desire.
Prior to Northeast Equity Partners, Nick worked as an M&A advisory consultant on both the tax and financial due diligence teams at a Big 4 Accounting firm in NYC. He has extensive experience working with C Suite executives, navigating complex deal issues and ultimately helping clients close on transactions. Nick has been involved in facilitating multi-billion dollar transactions spanning 40+ countries, as well as the sale of mom-and-pop shops.
Nick holds a Master’s in Accounting from NYU Stern, and a Bachelor’s Degree in both Accounting and Entrepreneurship from Syracuse University. Nick is also a certified CPA in NY state.
Nick loves spending time with friends and family, cheering on Boston sports teams, walking his mini-bernedoodle Reese, and playing golf and basketball.
